How to Transfer Crypto from Coinbase to Coinbase Pro

Transferring cryptocurrencies between different platforms can be a necessary step for many crypto traders. If you have cryptocurrencies stored in Coinbase and wish to move them to Coinbase Pro, this guide will help you through the process.


Step 1: Sign up for Coinbase Pro

If you haven't already, create an account on Coinbase Pro by visiting their website and clicking on the "Sign Up" button. Provide the required information, complete the verification process, and you're ready to go.

Step 2: Transfer Funds from Coinbase to Coinbase Pro

To transfer your cryptocurrencies from Coinbase to Coinbase Pro, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Coinbase account.
  2. Select the cryptocurrency you wish to transfer from the Asset Portfolio.
  3. Click on the "Send" button.
  4. Enter your Coinbase Pro wallet address. To find your Coinbase Pro wallet address, go to Coinbase Pro, select the respective cryptocurrency, and click on the "Deposit" option. Copy the Coinbase Pro wallet address.
  5. Paste the Coinbase Pro wallet address in the recipient address field on Coinbase.
  6. Enter the amount you want to transfer. Make sure to review the transaction details carefully.
  7. Click on the "Continue" button and follow any additional prompts to complete the transfer.

Step 3: Confirm the Transfer on Coinbase Pro

Once the transfer is initiated from Coinbase, you will need to confirm it on Coinbase Pro.

  1. Log in to your Coinbase Pro account.
  2. Go to the respective cryptocurrency's trading page on Coinbase Pro.
  3. Under the "Deposits" tab, you should see the pending deposit from Coinbase.
